Jupiter - Saltwater Fishing Report
The offshore fishing Jupiter and the Palm Beaches has been hit or miss the past few weeks. The Kingfish will be hot for a few days and then we'll spend hours looking for them. When we find them, they are inside the ledge in 85 - 90' of water. Finally, Cobia are still being caught on the inshore reefs and along the beaches under the large Manta Rays.
Mixed in, you'll find Mahi Mahi and the occasional Sailfish. Angler Management Fishing won this past weekend's KDW tournament with a Sailfish, 40lb smoker Kind and a nice size Mahi. Most other boats got skunked.
Today, we found a great weed line with large patches and scattered weed in 450 - 600'. Not a lot of action, but we were able to find a bunch of small scoolie Mahi.
Jupiter Fishing Forecast:
The Kingfish bite should continue to improve in the coming weeks with the lager numbers and size of Bonita showing up. With the Bonita come the Bull sharks. Mahi can be four all summer long on the ledge and offshore weed patches.
Target Species:
Kingfish, Mahi Mahi (Dolphin), Cobia, Sailfish, Bonita, & Cobia
