Jupiter - Saltwater Fishing Report
The little fishing Ive done over the past weeks has been nothing but unproductive. I have been distracted by making short trips to the keys the past weeks for lobsters, the action has definitely been more exciting then that offshore bonito bite.
However, the bonito are definitely beginning to move away. There was a period of 3 to 4 weeks where catching 30-35 of them wasn't uncommon. The kingfish bite has been strong at different depths on live bait. Blue runners have definitely been the most common bait as they have been the easiest to pull up at certain spots.
The reef has had a good Mutton bite, and this may be a smart decision to put some good meat on the table and at the same time pull up some live bait for big kings; because the reef has been holding plenty of runners, ranging in size - some too big.
