Offshore

Capt. Colin Hickey
October 22, 2008
Jupiter - Saltwater Fishing Report

Perhaps the best wind sequence for those targeting sails right now is a 2-3 day rotation of winds from the WNW to N to NE. Unfortunately this won't be a factor until Sunday or Monday when sea conditions seem to be unfavorable. However for those willing to push it, there will be strong wind and possibly rain so bring your Medium to HW kites.

Bait has been around with blue runners scattered in areas and a lot of people saying a strong mullet run which some have been using for other fish such as Tarpon as offshore continues to act up.

A couple areas of low pressure are existent in the Tropical Atlantic and Gulf, hopefully these systems will stay away so we can get some calmer seas.

A dolphin bite has been fairly consistent for those looking to drag baits this weekend.

Tight Lines,
C.Hickey
