Spring Mahi bite

Capt. Jim Black
May 25, 2016
Jupiter - Saltwater Fishing Report

The Mahi bite seems to have slowed down some this past week; but, I managed to boat 12 Mahi, 2 Sailfish, a Blackfin Tuna and a Kingfish last weekend. Even though he rips are setting up, there isn't much weed on them.

We were most successful trolling skirted Ballyhoo outside the deeper rip in 350' to 400' north to Stuart. The Bonita and Kingfish are thick on the ledge in 100' to 150' off Jupiter and Juno.

Jupiter Fishing Forecast:

The Mahi bite should continue to be sporadic as the Blackfin Tuna, Bonita and Kingfish bites improves off Jupiter. You should be successful trolling or using live bait.

Target Species:

Mahi, Kingfish, Cobia, Blackfin Tuna, Sailfish

More Fishing Reports:

Offshore charter fishing Jupiter, FL at it's finest on the Black Attack. It's just a short boat ride to the ledge and you're catching Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Kingfish and any number of other pelagic species. Our primary goal is to ensure that everyone on board has a day of fun. We are a personal charter perfect for families, novices and avid anglers alike. Since fishing isn't "catching", we offer a "catch a fish guarantee" for those days the fish just don't want to cooperate.
