Great action for Billfish off Miami Florida

Capt. Quinton Dieterle
April 19, 2010
Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

Well, as Cap and I headed to Key West to fish the World Sailfish Championship and defend our title, unsuccessfully i might add. Damn. Mike took the wheel of the Cutting Edge to try and up hold the reputation of the Cutting Edge, and i have to say he did a great job, many thanks from customers he guided and pictures to proof it. Most of the action came from Sailfish, dolphin, and black fin tuna. He had a big day on Thursday with 15 Sailfish, (he must have listened to the things we told him right?) he also had some Black fins. The rest of the week was in the 4 to 5 sailfish a day area. All the action came on the kites with live threadfins and sardines. The black fin are in the 15 to 20 pound range and the dolphin are around 10 pounds. We are back and in action again stay tuned
