Miami and Key Biscayne – offshore

Capt. Quinton Dieterle
March 21, 2001
Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

VERY BRISK

Today on the Edge:

4 sailfish

10 Dolphin

1 Kingfish

Half Day Trip

Customers Dr. Mike Hersh

Fishing from Fowey light to Triumph Reef we found nice current and blue water, the perfect combination for sailfish. Throw in some scattered grass and you are going to see some Dolphin to, which we did. The sailfish were in 120 ft. and traveling in pods of several fish. The Dolphin were mixed in. Most boats fishing saw a good number of fish and found them biting threadfins and goggle eyes best. I did not hear of much else happening today except for a occational King. But, If you like fishing for Sailfish this was the Day to be out. We all had a great time!!!!!!!!!
