Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

Another Exciting Week
Fishing all last week to be one of the most consistent weeks of fishing we have had in a while. With the right winds and water conditions the Sailfish and Dolphin have been abundant. Most of the Sailfish action has been in the area of 120 ft and the Dolphin have been just a bit farther out, say 150 to 190. The Dolphin have been biting chunks of Bonito and live pilchards. Most have been in the 2 to 4 pound range and a few large fish mixed in. We had a 20 pounder and missed a 45 pounder on Thursday. Friday we caught 5 sails and 40 dolphin on a have day of fishing, Thursday we had 70 dolphin and Wednesday we had 5 sailfish and 10 dolphin on a half day. The fishing should remain good next week if the weather stays good. Bait fishing has been tough with most of the bait to the north in Government cut.
This week end is the Miami Billfish Tournament,6,7,and 8th Join in the fun!
Watch for the standings and updates next week.
If you hear of any hot action let me know and I will post it on my report. List the area, Depth, and day of the action.
