Miami and Key Biscayne – offshore

Capt. Quinton Dieterle
July 7, 2003
Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fantastic Fishing

A bit on the rough side in the morning but super action. From the minute we hit the Edge we had fish. A regular Customer Tom Sukura found himself doing battle with a triple header bonito, Does not sound like much but the chunks they supplied us with sure did help out the rest of the day. Once we hit 300 ft. we had our first bunch of fish, big schoolies a bit finicky but catchable. Searching continued for only a few more minutes before Dave Brown located another flock of birds. This time the fish were smaller but the school was big. By days end we had our limit. Half the fish were 3 and 4 pounders and the rest were 6 to 8 lbs. Another great day on the edge.

Stay tuned
