Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

Sailfishing USA
Fishing over the last month has been Unbelievable. Sailfishing has been the best I have seen in Years. We have been averaging at least a couple a day and some days much more. Yesterday fishing in the Miami Yamaha Billfish Tournament we finished 10 out of 125 boats with 11 sailfish in 2 and a half days. We also finished 2nd in the Masters event with 40 boats the weekend before with 11 fish. We have been fishing near Key Biscayne and north. The fish have been traveling a bit deeper than in past years, with the average depth being 200 ft. The fish are eating anything that looks good, Goggle eyes pilchards, and Threadfins being my favorites. With the extra speed of the Cutting Edge after the Installation of the new engines we have the speed to get to the fish. With no smoke, it is really a major improvement for the boat. Not to mention the customers really enjoy the smokeless environment. Tight lines
