Miami and Key Biscayne – offshore

Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

Sailfish/ Dolphin and Now some Black fin Tuna

This week has been great fishing on the the edge. You don't have to go far to find dolphin or tuna. They are up in 80 to 200 ft. Usually they can be found on hawks or on small birds moving fast to the south. The Tuna we are catching on the edge using live baits. The best time is morning and late in the afternoon. Sailfish action is all day. It has been hard to get the baits in the water on the days when it is happening. It is hard to say what is making one day fantastic and the next just average. Seems when the wind comes up late in the day the fishing turns on.

Good luck to the anglers fishing the Cutting edge this weekend and to all readers.
