Miami & Key Biscayne

Capt. Joe McGivern
January 14, 2006
Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

Sailfishing has been on fire the past week. We have seen over 50 fish in 3 days and have boated 39! The fish have been pushing through in about 170ft of water along Key Biscayne. We have been using herring and pilchards as our primary bait.

Dolphin and cobia have also been in the mix this week.

Swordfishing has also been decent for the folks who have made it out. I have herd reports of a few 200lb fish caught this week. We landed a double header Tuesday night, one was about 100lbs and the other was a small pup about 30lbs. We released both to grow up and fight another day.

We still have a few days and nights available this month, but they are booking fast. So give us a call and lets pull on some fish!

Tight Lines,

Capt. Joe
