Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

With the first North easter the sailfish began to bite. Saturday while i was fishing the Miami Swordfish Tournament on the GET LIT, Cap Ran the Cutting Edge and did great. They caught some Dolphin first thing in the morning on some grass in 4oo ft. Then saw a couple of hawks on the water and they were on sailfish balling sardines. They caught one of them and then went in on the edge where action seemed to be picking up. By days end the had 4 sailfish and some more Dolphin. They also had some Bonito and a few kings. I finished in 3rd place in the swordfish tournament missing out on second by 9 oz's. Yesterday we had a few kings, a bunch of Skip jack tuna and some bonitos on a half day of fishing. The seas were flat and the wind was to light for a kite, so fishing slowed a bit.
Should start to get crazy here soon.
