Sailfish show up

Capt. Quinton Dieterle
March 30, 2022
Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

Over the last week Sailfishing has started to pick up, some days are better than others but the last couple days we've been seeing 3 to 5 sails. Kite fishing has been the primary method for catching them. Also starting to see some Kingfish and a few mahi-mahi. Hopefully this is going to be the beginning of a really hot spring time bite. We also have some pretty nice size blackfin tuna this week one up to 30 pounds. The black fin tuna fishing should only start to get better and should last through May.

Key Biscayne Fishing Forecast:

Sailfish Blackford tenet and kingfish should only get better from now through June. We are seeing plenty of signs of good fishing to come.

Target Species:

Sailfish- black fin tuna - big kingfish
