Key Largo Fishing Report 2/21/14 Offshore/Inshore Reef fishing
Lots of trips in the past month and mixing it up with all kinds of fishing.

Again this year (just like 2013) we have only had a few cold front that stuck and even they did not really change thing to much. Fishing Key Largo this winter feels like spring or summer most of the time. For the most part the gulf stream has stayed close the water did not get frigid in the backcountry. Lots of trips to the inside reef and most all species are doing well just not as many Macks inside. Live ballyhoo has been hitting some nice muttons

,groupers

,sharks, big cudas and a few ceros. Light tackle casting with 12 lb test has been keeping us busy with mangrove snapper, small mutttons, hogfish, jacks, pogies, and even got some nice sized sheepshead out front.

lots of action, close and calm shallow reef has been a good trip.

Just a few miles more and we are in blue water. The gulf stream has stayed close off key Largo this past month. Trolling has produced Blackfin tuna, some nice Dolphin

,Kingfish and Wahoo as well.
tight lines Capt.Bob......
