Cold Fronts Bring Good Fishing

Capt. Eric Evans
December 14, 2019
Key West - Saltwater Fishing Report

The fishing has stayed pretty good even with a couple cold fronts blowing by. November proved to be one of my best yet! When the Gulf Stream pushed further offshore anglers stayed busy on the deep reefs and patches catching gag groupers, red groupers, mutton snappers, yellowtail snappers, and sharks. Most groups got a fair share to cook there catches at Dante's restaurant which is just steps away from the filet table! When the conditions were right the offshore fishing was good. The mahi-mahi stayed around and the wahoo bite seems to be getting better as the winter sets in. Soon we should be seeing the black fin bite turn on and more sailfish coming our way. The Holliday season is upon us so please try to reserve early this year! Looking forward to fishing with you!
