Key West - Saltwater Fishing Report
Happy New Year! 2017 has started with a bang for us here st Booya Sport Fishing in Key West. We have seeing a great variety of species including wahoo, blackfin tuna, African pompano mutton snappers and more!
Action on our wrecks located mostly between 190 and 320 feet of water has been excellent. We have been using a variety of presentations including bucktails, vertical jigs and live blue runners, cigar minnows and herring producing strong catches of big muttons, African pompanos Amberjacks and more.
Drift fishing has been strong in the early morning and late afternoon as we have been raising blackfin tunas, sailfish, king mackerel and the occasional mahi mahi in waters ranging generally from 115-190 feet
Trolling has also been paying off with some nice wahoos as well as blackfin and skipjack tunas.
We here at Booya charters wish you all a happy healthy and prosperous 2017! Contact us directly at (305) 292 6692 or through our website www.booyakeywest.com. Also check out our Instagram booyafishingkeywest. We look forward to getting on some quality fish with you sooner than later!
