Key West - Saltwater Fishing Report

Key West waters are still providing good fishing for our charter customers.

Inshore, big bonitos, while not considered good table fare, have been providing great action and giving anglers weary arms even on a half day.

Suprisingly abundant Cero Mackerel, which are excellent eating, (I had some for dinner last night), have been making half day trips the best of both worlds. Action and a great dinner afterwards.

Still a few Mahi inshore, but the greater numbers are being caught out a bit deeper in 500-700 ft of water. Haven't bottom fished but the Mangro and Yellow Tail snapper should be biting well soon if not already. July looks to be a good month for fishing.
