Key West - Saltwater Fishing Report

The Fishing Report. Feb. 15, 2013.

A few cold fronts have brought in schools of big Jacks and Barracuda. Here is a good size Barracuda (15 pounds) caught by Andy Johnston!

Permit are also showing in good numbers on the backcounty flats. Here is a nice one caught recently.

Anthony and his buddy Dylan shared
the day on FlatsMaster with Capt. Dexter and landed a few more Jacks, including this double hook up 0f 12-14 pounders.

For any angler a big Jack is always a fun tussle on a 8 or 9 wt. rod.

As the water warms back up again in the coming weeks we will be catching Tarpon!
