Lake Kissimmee Bass Fishing

Capt. Scott Taylor
December 12, 2013
Kissimmee Chain - Freshwater Fishing Report

Bass fishing on Lake Kissimmee has been excellent the last week. Water temps of 72-73, air temps 82-85, sunny, light breezes, and the fish have been feeding. We've been catching a minimum of 20+ fish in just 4-6hr trips, all caught on artificial baits.

We're catching all fish on soft plastic jerk baits - flukes - in natural "shad" type colors, watermelon or pearl based colors are perfect. The fish have all been caught in 3fow fishing around mats, grass, and pads specifically targeting points or cuts in the cover.

Target Species:

Bass, largemouth bass, black bass
