Action is HOTTTT!

Capt. Jack Carlson
January 31, 2010
Marathon - Saltwater Fishing Report

The reef action has been on fire! Lots of grouper, mangrove, yellowtail, and mutton snapper have been biting. They have been eating fresh ballyhoo cut into chunks best.
We have been castnetting live ballyhoo on the reef and taking out to the deep and catching everything from sailfish, muttons and big kingfish on them.
Offshore the tuna have been bitting well on the butterfly jigs but been more on the smaller side. We have been highspeed trolling out to the Marathon Humps and catching wahoo from 30-40 plus pounds.
The Bite is On!
Tight lines,
Capt. Jack Carlson
