Snappers chomping in the middle Keys!

Capt. Bob Brown
December 4, 2014
Marathon - Saltwater Fishing Report

The reef bite remains very good all along the middle FL Keys with the best bet for table fare being a variety of Snapper that have been hitting the docks this week. Mangrove, Mutton, Yellowtail and Lane Snapper have been hot this week with the shallow water bite working well anywhere from 20-40' of water...

Some nice sized King Mackerel starting to show up on the Atlantic side with a few 25lb fish showing up in the mix. Sailfish action is heating up from Sombrero Light to Big Pine Shoal and there have been some Mahi hugging the edge of the gulfstream recently as well.

Bay fishing remains excellent with lots of Grouper, Snapper, Jacks, Sharks and a few other exotic wreck dwellers including Cobia and Redfish..

If you are interested in fishing in the middle FL Keys check out our web site or call at 800-282-1712.. Good luck in all your fishing adventures!!
