April Fishing

Capt. John Barker
April 11, 2019
Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report

April is finally here and the spring fish are on the move. We've fished some wonderful parties and have captured sailfish and large barracudas on the live baits in the riggers and on the kite. Most of our parties wanted action so trolling was also on the menu.

One morning, in the midst of a rain storm, Captain John found a shallow edge in about 300' - the party was rewarded with some nice dolphin action. The fish were on the move so trolling was the best method. The guys were delighted when the new lures and feathers they had just purchased were the lures that captured the fish.
