Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report
We've been fishing families all week. The weather has been 80 plus, the seas calm, and the fishing active. Please note the attire of our anglers-shorts and tee shirts are a must. The current off shore has been ripping stopping us from dropping for AJS and Tile fish. But trolling has produced nice size Mackerels, king fish, barracuda, mahi-mahi and more.
Kite fishing has produced sailfish and slightly bigger king fish. The best producing live bait has been the herring. The sailfish pictured attacked the herring four times before he ate. Then the fish went air born and the chase was on. He was on spin tackle and the angler did a super job of fighting him to the boat, taking a quick picture, and then releasing him tagged and all. The larger king fish was also captured on the kite lines just before the wind quit.
We wish all of our past and future anglers a Happy New Year and we hope fishing on the Blue Waters 2 is on your list of to do items for 2018.
