Fishing in Biscayne Bay continues to be fairly good. Plenty of sea trout have been available for anglers fishing live baits under a Cajun Thunder float and for anglers casting Rapala Skitter Walks, Twitchin Raps and Hookup lures tipped with a Gulp bait. Mixed in with the sea trout have been good numbers of bluefish to four pounds, Spanish mackerel, jacks and ladyfish.

Offshore we have had a few Spanish mackerel, bluefish and jacks near the beaches and offshore of the reefs there have been kingfish, sailfish and dolphins.
Fishing in South Bay has been up and down. Snapper and grouper some jacks, bluefish and a few mackerel.

Flamingo in Everglades National Park has made the change from summer to winter conditions. Spanish mackerel, bluefish, jacks, sea trout, pompano, tripletail, sharks, cobia and a few other species have been biting over the grass flats, hard bottom structures and in the open water. Along the shorelines especially along mangrove shorelines and into the backcountry snook are still being caught but not in the numbers we had seen when water temperatures were higher plus redfish, sheepshead and blackdrum are now eating live shrimp on Hookup lure jig heads and jig heads tipped with a Gulp shrimp.
