Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report

A Swedish father and two sons celebrated a family reunion while fishing on the Blue Waters 2 on the beautiful offshore waters of Miami. They only had the morning to enjoy the ocean before boarding three different planes to continue their business week.
The boat was loaded with live bait so the captain charged off to the edge of the gulfstream water. The conditions were good to fly the kite and one of the suspended baits soon produced sizable dolphin. After a grand struggle, the dolphin was landed. Several other dolphins followed but they were all under sized and were released.

Later, a four foot black tip shark attacked the long bait and he was also quickly captured and released. For the last hour, the crew broke out the trolling gear and dad got the last bite, a yellow jack. Time was up and the happy family returned to the dock. The family got the fishing bug and want to return for the spring sailfish bite.
