Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report

Before I start my latest fishing update I would like everyone to go to Get Em Sportfishing Charters on Facebook and like my page. Thanks!
Now to the fishing!
I know it's been a while since my last report. Between spending time with my family and friends during the Holidays business was great and the fishing just as good. I have a lot to write about and will have to break it up into three or four parts.
Fishing in North Biscayne Bay, South Biscayne Bay and in Flamingo has been great with almost every fish anglers wanting to target available in one of these locations. This fishing will continue into March and Maybe April.
Here is a short synopsis of what has happened starting in mid-December.
Fishing in the Bahamas on Daddy's Toy a 68 foot Hatteras with seven fishermen myself and a crew of two in fairly rough conditions the guys caught flag yellowtails, horse eye jacks, black snappers, barracudas, sharks, blackfin and yellow eye snappers plus a ton of runners, cero mackerel and triggers.

Next trip is a half day in North Biscayne Bay with longtime client Steve. The bait fishing was very good but besides lots of small bluefish, kingfish and mackerel the fishing was a bit slow.
Next trip again is in North Biscayne Bay. A ½ day with Richard and his six year old sons Jamie and Owen. At the end of the trip the kids and Richard had caught and released three snook, 12 sea trout, 10 bluefish, ladyfish, barracudas, ribbonfish, jacks and Spanish mackerel.

Today I am in South Biscayne Bay with returning regulars Dana, Steve and Joel. The fishing was bit a slow on this day but the guys did manage to catch and release eight gag groupers, one black grouper, one snook, lots of jacks and are snappers.

Back in North Biscayne Bay with Mike, Sean and nine year old Andrew. Once again the bait is in good supply and the guys used live pilchards to catch one Spanish mackerel, 10 bluefish, two barracudas, four trout, one gag grouper and jack crevalles in four hours.
