Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report

We are at the time of year when dolphin fishing and tarpon fishing are shining. The dolphin is the most sought after species during the late spring and summer months. We've been finding them as close as 130' and as far offshore as 19 miles. The 1000' range has seen the most consistent action.

Move inshore during the late afternoon, through dusk, and after dark and the tarpon take the stage. The action has been steady and reliable both outside of the Inlets and in the Bay. Throw a live crab out on a circle hook and when the time comes, the rod bends over severely as line screams off the reel. Then the test of an anglers ability and stamina come into play. The tarpon will definitely test both. The fish are in the 70 pound and up class.

To get in on the action just give me a call, or email me to set up a trip. Catch fresh dolphin for dinner and top it off with battling a tarpon. You can do them both on a single trip.
