Capt. Bruce Burnette
July 26, 2009
Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report

We had 2 half days this week,Friday and Sat. Friday we started off trying to catch live bait but it was slow going. We decided to buy bait from my friend Frank of Ashley baitboat. We loaded up on pilchards and worked our way out to 110ft. off the Cuban Hole.Almost immediatley we hooked up with some decent kings and never got out more than 2 lines at a time. When the smoke cleared we ended up with 16 kings to 23lbs. and 14 bonitos and a mongo-sized rainbow runner about 8lbs. Sat. we caught a bunch of speedos at the Sea Buoy and trolled down to the Dade County wrecks and caught a couple of kings up to 15lbs. The livebaiting produced a fat 12lb.mutton snapper and a 45lb.amberjack along with a few boneheads.Check us out @ DeckTechSportfishing.com! Tight Lines
