Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report

What a pleasure it is to get back to fishing after hurricane Irma. We had two sets of ladies visiting Miami that wanted to experience fun on the ocean. On the first trip, the bite was all blackfin tunas that we found offshore. The school of tunas were easy to spot under birds working the same bait schools.

On the second trip, a young lady from Canada joined us on the Blue Waters 2. The trip started similarly with a few tunas offshore. The offshore waters appeared fairly clean, but Captain John did manage to some debris - a floater buoy - and our lady angler quickly hooked-up with nice a dolphin under the flotsam. The day continued with good fishing action, sunshine and calm seas - a recipe for a perfect morning.

Also, the wahoo bite is expected to start soon, and the Sunday charter captured four wahoos and a few dolphins.
