Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report
First of all, we wish a speedy recovery to all of our friends on the west coast of Florida affected by Hurricane Ian. Here in Miami the waters offshore are clearing up and the bite is getting better. We fished an afternoon half with two men just looking to bend a rod. The offshore mahi bite was slow so the guys concentrated on trolling on the edge of the third reef. They were rewarded with several kingfish, a released bonita, and a mackerel.
The next morning the am trip the guys trolled the edge and found one Mahi under some weed, a nice barracuda on the planer, and several kingfish - some keepers and some released.
