North Biscayne Bay Fishing Report

Capt. Alan Sherman
August 28, 2007
Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing North & South Biscayne Bay, Offshore and Flamingo with Capt. Alan Sherman

Been out of town more then in town recently but have had the opportunity to fish a bit and have found that fishing in North Biscayne Bay has picked up during early mornings, late afternoons and during early evenings due to schools of small baitfish that have attracted the attention of sea trout, snook, tarpon, jack crevalles, ladyfish, snappers, barracudas and a few Spanish and king mackerel. Offshore sailfish, dolphions, wahoo, bonitos and a few nice snappers have cooperated and in Flamingo in Everglades National Park snook, goliath groupers, redfish, snappers, sea trout, sharks and tarpon have made up daily catches.

Do your self a favor before the summer is over and book yourself a trip so you too can get in on some of the great summer fishing. Don’t procrastinate or before you know it the fall and then the winter will be here. Great fishing will hold through early October when water temperatures start to drop and South Florida fishing makes a change and we start targeting migratory species.
