Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report

April fishing is here!! Mahis offshore, blackfin tunas on the move, sailfish on the kite and live bait, and summer sized bonitas abound.
We fished several groups this week. Friday the 13th, we took a fun group of friends out for a morning trip. There was a rip and scattered sea weed in 100' so John stopped and had the mate put out the trolling gear. Dolphin popped out of the weed, one at a time. As the morning wore on, the scattered weed went further and further off shore. As the picture shows, everyone captured at least one fish, with several released that were just short.
Another morning, an English brother and sister team joined us for fishing. They were treated to a bite by skipjack tunas, bonitas, and a feisty mahi.
The third trip of the week produced a large 25 lb. kingfish, bonitas and lots of rods bending and people cheering.

Come join us this spring and summer!! Remember free beverages on every trip.
