Winter Fishing Summertime Weather

Capt. John Barker
December 5, 2017
Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report

The weather is cooler and less humidity and there is Christmas music on the radio, but the fishing still seems like summer time. This week we had fun fishing three different parties from everywhere. The trolling on the shallow reef produced a nice black grouper and a few mackerels. The guys found a few dolphin under a hawk in 100' of water. And the skip jack tunas are still in about 200 feet of water snapping on the mylar lures and colored feathers.

Action fishing is still a crowd pleaser. We have plenty of dates open for the holiday break so call and reserve.

The Blue Waters II Fishing Charter boat out of Miami offers half and full day charters. Located in downtown Miami's Bayside Marketplace, we are just minutes from the deep sea fishing grounds where we will catch sailfish, shark, dolphin and more. All tackle included with a fun loving crew. Mention this ad and we will furnish free beverages and dry snacks. There are different species every month so call and ask what is running. We also run private sight seeing cruises-your party maximum six.
