Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report

So many people tell me that they are glad 2018 is over, well not me. 2018 was a great year for me and my business.
All year long we were lucky to have so many of our past clients/friends return for more Fishing fun. Then along came great new clients. Abie and I were blessed to have non-stop great guest fishing with us every day.
And then there were the fish and fun. We had some great days of Tarpon and good days of sailfish. We had clients catch 600 pound bluefin tuna, 100 pound Cubera snapper, giant amberjack and a 558 pound swordfish.

We shared days with kids and their families who have battled illnesses for months and years, and showed them that life can be fun. We introduced healthy kids to lots of family Fishing fun.

On top of all that we made great TV shows and were honored for sharing our drive toward fishing with conservation.
I got to see the Johnny Morris fishing and hunting museum and witness good friends inducted into the IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame. While there my sister, Sue, and I caught our first small mouth bass and spotted bass.
Abie and Yudith got to drive and fish all over the Pacific Northwest.
And then when all was said and done, we got to reflex on how blessed we are to share one of life's greatness jobs with so many friends and clients.
We have spent the first days of 2019 catching big sharks, huge sailfish, kingfish, mutton snappers and amberjacks.
Look for good Tarpon and sailfish fishing over the next few months. Get out and catch your golden tilefish quick or the quota will be reached before you get a chance.
Remember grouper season is closed till May first.
Look for big shrimp runs this month.
Most importantly get out and go fishing. Oh Yea, take a friend and a kid with you.
Have a great year.
