Mosquito Lagoon - Saltwater Fishing Report

The fishing has been on fire in the Daytona beach and New Smyrna areas with the cooler temps the water is clean and the red fish are schooling up . We have had some of the best fishing of the year with the forecast to only get better . We are catching 40 fish a day with a mixed bag of Red fish , Black Drum , Sea trout and Flounder on live shrimp , jigs with gulp shrimp and on fly . If you want some of the best fishing of the year now is the time to get out on the water . I have openings still available over the next few weeks. Winter is a great time the cold clean water makes the fish extremely aggressive and on sunny days the visibility for sight casting rivals the keys and bahamas .
