August and September 2013 fishing forecast and report

We have had some really good fishing this summer and expect the same . The Red fish and Trout bite has been good on top water and jerk baits , We have had tailing reds up in the very shallow grass that have been eating shrimp when placed on their nose . The best bite has been using Pig fish a small bait that is a member of the pin fish family but they make a sound similar to a croaker , These baits are a lot of fun for the novice to experienced angler . With school starting back its a great time to give the kids a break on the weekends .
