April Fishing

Naples - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing in Naples has been great with large snook and redfish catches. Finding bait has been the challenge but once you get it these fish are very hungry. The pompano bite has also stayed solid in the passes and beaches. Look for things to change as we have hopefully are last cold front come through the area this weekend.

Naples Fishing Forecast:

With what seems to be the last of the cold fronts the fishing in the Naples area should continue to remain solid. Snook, redfish, and tarpon are starting to move out of the backwaters towards the bays and passes. Look for bait to start showing up in good numbers along the beaches. If your not equipped to throw a cast net look for schools of threads to be popping on the surface and use a sibiki rig to get the bait you will need. Tarpon will start showing up in our area soon. Cut ladyfish, large threads and big mullets will be great baits to target these fish.

Target Species:

snook, redfish, trout, pompano, tarpon
