Naples - Saltwater Fishing Report

Well to say the least this was definitely the long hot summer but now the winds of change are blowin and the fishing is in a fall pattern.Temps in the 60s the last couple of weeks have gotten the bite going. We ran a couple of full days the last week and the red grouper bite is awesome with a limit of 10 to 12 fish coming in the first hour and a half of fishing. One day we rounded out the day with five keeper gags and another day with two cobia to 40pds.In the mako we have been fishing on the beach for spanish mackeral with bonita and sharks mixed in.Action has been nonstop on the half dayin the skiff we even found tarpon in the glass minnows one day.

Naples Fishing Forecast:

Half day or full day,Inshore or offshore it doesnt matter where or when the fishing is good. The longrange forcast is for a mild winter and should keep the fishing good.If you need groupers for dinner now is the time because they are going to be closing for two months again this year.doesnt make any sense to me with so many fish around but hopefully it stays this way .Middle of november were putting a new livewell and a tower on the mako and this winter we will be making trips out of the naples city dock to fish Cape Romano and points south on the full day.the cost will be $550 and the fishing should be worth it.The new website is almost finished you can check us out at findictive.com,or Capt Marvel.com.

More Fishing Reports:

I have been operating out of Naples for over twenty years and have the spots to prove it.With a range of over 400 miles and the speed to get there quickly the options are endless. We are consistently one of the top producing boats in sw florida, stop by the city dock and see for yourself.
