Groupers are Now Closed

Naples - Saltwater Fishing Report

The last two weeks I have not left a report because we have been fishing everyday. To say that the grouper fishing was good is an understatement. On every trip we had at least 8 groupers with amberjacks included and a limit on both most days. But now we shift into snapper mode. The best way to catch these sneaky devils is light leader and live bait with a few chumballs mixed in for good measure.I did get a report about a large school of kingfish makin there way back from the keys.If we dont get any real cold weather these fish will probably show up around the 17th of feb.Sounds crazy after all the cold weather we had that kings could show that soon but its starting to look like thats when they will show up in area waters.

Naples Fishing Forecast:

With groupers close we focus on snappers and ajs and towards the end of the month the kings should really get goin.

I have been operating out of Naples for over twenty years and have the spots to prove it.With a range of over 400 miles and the speed to get there quickly the options are endless. We are consistently one of the top producing boats in sw florida, stop by the city dock and see for yourself.
