Naples - Saltwater Fishing Report

July has been a great month to get out on the water. The bait is getting bigger on the beaches and with this you can find schools of snook traveling right behind them. These fish can be easily targeted using pilchards and pinfish. Tarpon can be targeted early using mullet, pinfish and DOA Baitbusters. The redfish bite has been improving slowly on the end of the incoming tide. For you artificial guys who like to cover some territory try using silver spoons and some topwater poppers it's great action will produce some really good snook bites.
Here is a great picture of Tom Bennet with a tarpon jumping one of two Tom had landed in the morning.

Naples Fishing Forecast:

With bait getting bigger on the beaches look for the fishing to improve. Water temps have been holding in the upper 80's and with the afternoon rains don't be afraid to jump out early and catch the early bite.

Target Species:

Snook, Redfish, Tarpon, Snapper, Trout
