Naples - Saltwater Fishing Report

Three anglers onboard yesterday Father with his two sons (ages 6 and 10) started off the morning fishing about 3 miles offshore over an artificial reef; lots of bait was present. After sitting on anchor for 20 minutes one of our big lines out the back got hit and after a 15 minute fight we landed about a 25 pound kingfish! At the same spot we picked up a few grunts and lost some bigger stuff that pulled us into the rocks. Fished that spot for about 1.5 hours and then jumped out to a spot about 5 miles offshore. The second area we fished was a natural reef in about 32 feet of water where the action was a little quicker to keep the kids entertained. Caught several grunts, small red grouper, and a few porgies in the second area. A good time was had by all!
