Lake Toho
Today was a great day out on Lake Toho, with the water temp finally in the mid 70's the top water bite has picked up some.
Today was a day on the water with my son,he has been off the water and asked for a run out on Toho and it was a great day for him.
Started the day or should i say afternoon off with 2 dozen shiners, landing a few good slot sized bass, when he got his 6 pounder for the day. These fish were picked up in the Whaleys Landing area.
From there we moved over to Browns Point and worked some spinnerbaits and top water poppers, picking up 3 more bass in the 2 to 3.5 pound range.
From there we headed over to Gobblets Cove flipping the grass patches and reeds we managed to pick up 3 more good bass, ending the day with a free lined shiner while we were pitching, hooking up another nice 6 pounder.
Digital camera was a failure for us, but we will be adding video to our web site of a few of the bass caught in the next few weeks.
Till my next report, tight lines and great fishing.
