Orlando - Freshwater Fishing Report
Clermont Chain
Water Temperature: 82
Water Clarity: Not reported
Today we were out doing some scouting for up coming trips to the great Clermont Chain of lakes. We started our day out putting in at the Hull Rd ramp and going into Lake Louisa. Working the scattered grass patches and around the cypress trees with white spinner baits picking up a few small bass in the 2 pound range.
From there we moved over to Lake Minnehaha, again working the shoreline grass patches, boat docks and cypress with white spinner baits picking up 2 more small bass.
Off to Emerald Lake Mobile Home Park, where we started out pitching black/red Gene Larew craws. Working the scattered docks we picked up 2 nice bass, both just over 4 pounds each. Very nice DEEP area in here, on spot hit 37 feet and showed fish stacked in it, so we JIGGED a white spinner bait and picked up 2 more, one just over 3 and the other came in at 4.5 pounds.
Clermont is really heating up and the artificial bite has really turned on good.
Till my next report, tight lines and great fishing
