Orlando - Freshwater Fishing Report
Clermont Chain
Well today was definately Friday the 13th, for some anyways. Today i was at the downtown ramp at 6:45, awaiting my client at 7am,8am comes around and no client, so it was off to some action packed fishing for us.
We started the day fishing the West shoreline of Lake Minneola, working the scattered grass beds with white horny toads and white/silver flukes, picking up 3 nice bass to 3 pounds.
From there we moved over to Lake Palatakaha, flipping Gene Larew craws black neon to and under the boat docks, grass patches and cypress trees picking up 2 right at 3 pounds, working our way to the mouth of Emerald Lake Mobile Home Park, at the mouth i had tossed a white spinner bait, working it slowly across the mouth of the enterance when she got HAMMERED, coming into the boat was a very nice, solid and mean 7 pound large mouth.
Working my way around the inside of the park flipping docks and the shorline produced 2 more bass to 2.5 pounds when we decided we had had enough for the day.
Remember folks, when you book a trip, not only with us, but other guides as well,IF you cant make it,please atleast call us to give a chance to atleast try to rebook the day.
Till my next report, tight lines and great fishing
