Lake Toho
We spent the last 2 days with trips on Lake Toho and the fishing has been going great.
Early morning topwater bite has really picked up once again catching several very nice bass to 6 pounds using various baits with the Black Snake catching the most and the biggest, running water has been the key to everything. St Cloud Canal had shad busting the surface and the bass blowing right behind them. Mouth of St Cloud Canal at Gobblets Cove produced several good quality bass.
When the topwater action slowed, we switched off to a small Yo-zuri crystal minnow to catch several more bass to 5 pounds. The key here was to mimic the hatch, small in size and silver/blue was all it took.
Waters on Toho are looking great, noticed several sweet hydrilla patches on the north end of the lake which held some good bass on a snake bite, weedless and easy to get it back deep into the slop and not get fouled. Since the big drawdown and clean up the lake has really come back to the way it was, with excellent fishing with either artificial or live bait.

Till my next Report, tight lines and great fishing
