Orlando, FL - Lake Toho, Clermont Chain & The Kissimmee Chain

Capt. Tim Fey
July 18, 2005
Orlando - Freshwater Fishing Report

Butler Chain

Water Temperature: 87

Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater

Today we were out on Butler Chain for what turned out to be an awesome day. Our first 2 spots, one on Lake Blanche and one on Lake Chase produced one bass each using white horny toads.

From there we moved over to Lake Tibet, working grass beds, lily pads and reeds we picked up 16 more bass using various colors of horny toads and Gambler Ugly Otters. Waters on Butler Chain look awesome, very clean as it usually is with very little boat traffic to speak of out there today. Saw 2 good sized schools busting water on Tibet and another on Lake Sheen. Bass were very healthy and stout.Waters are still very high out there so please respect the home owners and not blast thru close to shore, there is a posted 100ft no wake throughout the chain from shoreline.

Till my next report, tight lines and great fishing.
