Orlando - Freshwater Fishing Report
Lake Toho
The past week on Lake Toho has been a rather fun, and interesting one. The first part of the week up till Thursday the shad busts had still been hot and heavy with a bunch of schoolie sized bass with a few up to 6 pounds taking our offerings.
One of my clients was informed "spinnerbaits will get you nothing but Pickeral" well i bet his best five at 17 pounds will tell a different story. Saturday was an awesome day once again in our area,Just south of Laniers Point working the "inside" grass beds, up and around the scattered grasses and reeds, shad were busting and the bass were getting hooked up.
Today was a little dufferent story as the shad busts had went away except for a few here and there, spinnerbait and Kicker Kraw in watermelon red were the bait of choice. With the front that moved in, the bite got very tough.
Waters have cooled a bit and seem to have cleaned up some. Look for bait fish and the bass will be there.
We also hit Browns and Whaleys and nothing was biting other than 2 misses at Browns. Most all our Bass this past week have come from the west side of the lake at mid lake with plenty being caught and everyone going home happy.
Till my next report, tight lines and great fishing
