Orlando - Freshwater Fishing Report
Clermont Chain
Today we spent a few hours out on Clermont Chain.
Started out working the river in the area of Lake Wilson, catching 3 schoolies on toads.
Moved into Lake Wilson and did some flipping with Kicker Kraws and managed to pick up one more schoolie before moving over to Cook Lake.
Up in Cook Lake we spotted some baitfish action on the surface and started tossing toads again managing one more scholie.
From there we moved over to the river between Cook Lake and Cherry Lake, tossing toads WAY back into slop we managed 3 more off of topped out hydrilla patches, these patches were very small and toad got slammed as it passed over the hydrilla, few areas f heavy duckweed produced 3 more bass before calling it a day.
Chain is looking very good and waters have cooled down some since my last run there, we had perfect weather today for alot of topwater action and with waters cooling down it will only get better.
Till my next report, tight lines and great fishing!!
