Palm Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report
As we start to slowly get back to the grind, the fishing has been great inshore for snook tarpon, jacks, snapper and sharks.
Anglers are having great days targeting snook with Rapala skitter walks, enjoying explosive surface strikes. Snook are very active alone dock, seawalls, and deep channels. Live baits like mullet and greenies can be used around structures and channel edges for great success.
The tarpon have been active morning and afternoon striking live baits free lined with the tide or using DOA BaitBuster bounced slowly through the water column. Tarpon are starting to migrate down the beaches offering great shots at bigger fish.
The freshwater bite has been stellar for peacock bass as they are spawning. The peacock bass are very aggressive striking top water, jerk baits and live baits. The largemouth bass are also biting along sea walls and drop offs, fineness worms and small crank baits great choices to get the drag screaming.
