Palm Beach Jupiter Inshore Report

Capt. Craig Korczynski
October 5, 2022
Palm Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Thoughts and prayers to all of our friends, family members and others affected by Hurricane Ian. The past week has been tough for Florida.

South east Florida received ample amounts of rain triggered our freshwater flood gates to open full capacity.

The mullet run is still in effect and the fishing is still epic. Beach fishing has been hit and miss due to the swells from the storm. When it is possible to fish the beach's tarpon, jacks, bluefish, sharks, snapper and ladyfish have all been offering drag screaming action. Live mullet and Rapala skitter walks have been the bait of choice.

Inshore the snook fishing continues to provide great action along sea walls, points and docks. Local spillways have been holding big snook as well, DOA terror eyz and DOA C.A.L. 4" jerk baits great baits to get snook feeding.

The silver king have been schooled up inside the ICW, channel edges and mangrove shorelines have been the hot spots. Live mullet, pilchards and DOA Terror Eyz bait of choice. The tarpon are feeding on both sides of the tide, trick to get consistent bite, go light on leader.

Well that is the fishing report for the past week, hope you all enjoyed. Remember you can't catch them from the couch, so get out there and get hooked up. Tight Lines!
